In Memory of
Judy Beth Hubbell
-

In loving Memory, on Tuesday, June 22nd, of 2016 at 9:42 PM while at Memorial City Memorial Hospital in the Nuero Science Emergency Center Judy Beth Hubbell moved on to The Lords Kingdom.

Anyone that knows Judy knows she was a devout believer, advocate of kindness, and loyal Volunteer at Chaplewood Church (her home away from home). Thank you so much to everyone who touched her life and were there for her. All of your random acts of kindness were truly a source of strength that motivated her to keep going, enabling her to enjoy a true quality of life as much as possible for as long as possible.

Things happened rather quickly in approximately 9 hours she was no longer with us. She is now with her son Brad in the Lords Kingdom. Everything happened very quickly. There was approximately a 9 hour window from when the Paramedics picked her up, until her blood pressure dropped first and then her heart slowly stopped pumping. She was medicated and I do not believe she felt any pain.

Judy is survived by Bill Hubbell (her oldest son, 44 years), her grandson Jacob (6 years old), her granddaughter Davia (15 years old), her Daughter in law, Silvia Victoria (44 years old), and her brother Jack H Reeves who lives in Arizona.

Judy went to Lamar High School, and then Tulane University where she earned a Bachelors in Education. Her entire adult life was devoted to helping others. Judy exemplified what it means to be a Christian though her actions, always giving and treating others as she wished to be treated.

I taught with Judy at Cimarron Elem. and introduced her to Windham Schools too. She was a success in both. I will always believe she found the work with her young offenders the most gratifying. She was one of the most outstanding math teachers in the system. She was recognized as the teacher of the year in the Gulf Coast Region. Her work at Chaplewood Methodist Church was done with the same enthusiasm. I have lost a wonderful friend.
