Raymond Lucas Suttles

Raymond, a former member o{ Friendship Baptist church located in, Lorain, OH was born on August 7, 1986 in Lorain, to his mother Elexis. At the age of 12, he along with mother and siblings moved to Houston, TX. In 2005, he graduated from Southwest High School in Houston, Texas. Shortly after graduating high school, he went on to study Psychology at Texas Southern University. Most recently, Raymond worked for Rockstone designs, of Houston, TX, where he discovered a hidden talent for remodeling homes.

Raymond was a great family man and a loving son, brother, nephew and friend. Although he created an unbreakable bond with his niece and any person he came into contact with. Raymond had many passions, but one passion stood out most among all, fashion. Raymond's eye for fashion lead him to personal shop for others and help them create a fashionable wardrobe.

Raymond was a social and active young man who was deeply involved in improving his skill, and working hard for the majority of his life. He enjoyed learning new things, listening to music, and any down time with family and friends. His family and friends will always remember him as the most loyal, understanding, caring, and giving person he was.

Raymond is survived by his mother, Elexis Mastin (Charles): his sister, Cherisse: his brother, Isaiah: his niece, Elexis Stumbo: his grandmother, Delores Peyton: three uncles, Leroy Peyton (Denise), LeVern Peyton, Jr., and Tracy Suttles (Cynthia): his aunt Elaine Mitchell (Erwin). He is preceded in death by his step grandfather, LeVern Peyton, Sr.: his grandfather, James Raymond Kolb; and his uncle Clifton L. Suttles. Rey will be missed by all.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service, with the visitation from 10 AM to noon, and the funeral at 12:00 PM.
