Our prayers and condolences go out to the family on their loss. Wilbur will long be remembered as one of the icons in the Texas Federation of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees where he served as the Federation Treasurer. He was a truly dedicated person who mentored many of us who follow in leadership roles. We traveled many roads together and while his loss is great, our love, respect and memories will live on forever.

My deepest sympathies are extended to the Doehring family. Wilbur was highly thought of and a good friend. He contributed immensely to the Texas Federation of National and Retired Federal Employees. He kept us straight when it came to finances. I'll really miss the long conversations we had about everything NARFE -- and more. We've lost a really great man and I know the family has lost a great father.

Our deepest sympathies to the family for your loss. Wilbur was not only a neighbor, but a dear friend and he will be missed. He was an active member of the Property Owners Association in The Hills for a long time and still attended meetings when he could. He visited my husband when he was in the hospital and was part of the Friday night "out to eat" group. RIP sweet man.
