In Memory of
Oluwatoyin Adebusola Titilayo Mustapha
-

Toyin was a kindhearted, beautiful soul with a compassionate spirit. She was a loving daughter, a loving sister, and a loving friend.

Toyin was brilliant, talented, athletic, hard-working, disciplined, quiet-natured, inquisitive, and soft-hearted. She delighted in spending time with family and her tight-knit group of friends. After her former years in grade school, she attended St. Ignatious College Prep school in Chicago. Toyin was exceptional in her studies. She was a straight-A student, excelling in challenging honors and AP classes. She participated and competed in Track n Field, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, IVC (Ignatian Volunteer Corp), Peer Tutoring, Band, and Jazz Band. Additionally, she devoted her weekends to attend the Merit School of Music and played the trumpet at many prestigious concert halls throughout the city.

Her brilliance was unmatched. She competed in a televised scholastic competition, Know Your Heritage, winning 2nd place. Toyin’s exemplary scholastic achievements led her to gain admission to several top universities, including Brown University, where she attended on an academic scholarship.

Toyin was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and consistently praised and worshiped God in the good times and the bad. Toyin was always generous and kind towards others, often discounting her own pain and discomfort to help those in need. She trusted in God until the very end.

Toyin is survived by her mother Shikeola Oshodi and her sisters, Lolade Adetola Mustapha and Adeola Kemi Mustapha. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Her death was preceded by her father Muhammed Morufdeen Mustapha.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 at Beresford Funeral Home
Visitations will be from 11am to 12pm and the Funeral will begin at 12 noon.
