In Memory of
Levi Clark
-

Levi Clark, age 74, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, January 1, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital in The Woodlands. He was born in Diboll, Texas on August 16, 1943, to Coy and ID Clark.  He was a wonderful husband, father, “Papa”, and friend to many.  Levi married his sweetheart, Evelyn Newman on June 22, 1963 in Garrison, Texas.  He was widely known for his steadfast faith, generosity, and creative mind – displaying a wonderful knack for solving all of life’s issues.  From woodworking, to welding, to repairing motors, or even repairing broken hearts – there wasn’t a thing he couldn’t fix.  Levi truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family, good food, good music and gardening.  Levi had an uncanny ability to reach people from every walk of life and every background, at just the perfect time.  His life and legacy will carry on through the countless people who loved and admired him.  He is survived, and sorely missed by his wife, Evelyn Clark; daughters Carolyn Dudley (husband David) and Alena Wilson (husband John); granddaughters Jessica Sheftall (husband Shane) Dani Griswold, Victoria Dudley, and Jaclyn Griswold Wilson; great granddaughter Joanie Sheftall; and many friends.  “We be missing you.”  In lieu of flowers, hug those you love and celebrate family.
