Angelina Briseno Hernandez, 85, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026 at her home in Houston, Texas. She was born on April 13, 1941 in Pittsburg, Oklahoma to Miguel Rangel and Guadalupe Reyes and was one of twelve children.
Angelina was a devoted mother, wife, and believer in the Catholic faith. She worked hard to support and provide for her family and retired in 2005 as a legal secretary for the City
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jose Asencion Hernandez; children Victor Briseno, Dominic Briseno, Sonja Briseno, Lillian Briseno, Jason Briseno, and Gabriel Briseno; grandchildren, Christopher Small, Julian Ayala, Angelia Dominguez, Kalem Briseno, Kody Briseno, Adam Briseno, Ariel Briseno, and Elias Briseno; sisters Mary Meadows, Amelia Hamilton, and Ann Porter; brothers Al Rangel, Joe Rangel, and Mickey Rangel; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Adolph Rangel and Dan Rangel; her sisters, Carmen Wangler, Joann Cruz and Sister Agnes Rangel; and father of her children, Julian Briseno.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 10:00 am at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (7801 Gulf Freeway, Dickinson, Texas, 77539.)

Angelina was a devoted mother, wife, and believer in the Catholic faith. She enjoyed spending time with all her family and friends, attending church, and taking care of her plants and cats.
