Robert Evans Bennett Sr. passed away on April 02, 2013. He was born on April 18, 1945.

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Russum; his brother, Phillip Bennett; sisters-in-law, Karen Duncan, and Joanie Norman; his daughter, Karen Heisserer; his son, Robert E. Bennett Jr., Joseph (Judd) Furby, and Aaron Bennett; niece, Whitney Garcia; and his grandchildren, Zach, Amanda, Haley, Haden, Saharah, Austin, Alexis, Nathan, Heather and William.

He is preceded by his father: William Gaines Bennett and Mother, Edna Mae Evans; by his wife, Lynn Bennett; and siblings, John “Dennis”, James ”Jim”, William “Billy”, and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Strickland.

Visitation & Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10am & 12pm in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service (13501 Alief Clodine Rd, Houston, TX 77082, 281-933-9090)

Burial will commence at 2:30pm at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial, Houston, TX 77038, 281-447-8686)
