Cesar Garcia of Grandbury, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 13, 2024.
Cesar is survived by his mother Teresa Garcia; sons Chez Garcia and Chris Garcia; his brother Andy Garcia, sisters Teresita Alvarez, Rosa Marcos, and Lillia Garcia, and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Cesar Garcia, and sisters Mirtha Garcia and Marina Milla.
Cesar was born in Havana, Cuba on September 29, 1959. He spent his early years in Miami, Florida and he then moved to Texas. Cesar had the biggest personality and a heart to match. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need and always did it with a huge smile. He often mowed the yard for his older neighbors, and he took such pride in knowing he was able to help. Anyone that needed a helping hand could always count on Cesar to be there for them. This kindness wasn’t just for people; he loved animals too. His dog Molly was his little princess. She was loved and spoiled beyond belief, but Cesar wouldn’t have it any other way. Cesar even took care of all of the stray cats near his home, and left food and treats for them so they would know they were loved. He was such a kind-hearted person whose laughter, smile and bear hugs will be missed beyond words.
Cesar had a passion for the restoration of vintage cars. He was an expert in his craft of paint and body work, and he took great care and pride in everything he did. Cesar’s passion for cars is shared by his sons and brother, who will continue to honor this love and remember him every time they see a vintage car.
Cesar was taken from this world far too soon for the love he had to give and the love his family had for him. We will lead by his example and love our family and neighbors as he did. Cesar will be missed more than he could ever imagine. We will love you forever Cesar.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, October 24, 2024 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Visitation starts at 10:30 am and the funeral will start at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery (12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077).
