My beloved Aunt Dot was born into a family of cotton farmers outside Bryan who planted with mules. She grew into a beautiful young lady who married an Aggie, raised a beautiful extended family, and became a pillar of the church. But this does not begin to describe what a wonderful, fun-loving and generous person she was. The kingdom of childhood should remain inviolate. My Aunt Dot and her sisters kept it that way for all of us, and we will never be able to repay them for the storybook, idyllic childhood we had. She would have us simply give thanks to the Lord for all the blessings He has given. On behalf of my wife Polly and son, Michael, I extend the most heartfelt condolences to my dear Uncle John, and cousins Jana and Greg.
