Jessie James O'Neal, Jr. passed away on April 7, 2022 in Houston, Texas. He was born on June 24, 1934 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Jessie James O'Neal Sr. and Lucy Perkins O'Neal.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Legertha O'Neal in 2020, his son Sam Morgan, his daughter, Darlene Pride, and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Charlene Hankerson, Anthony Morgan (Chevy), Daryl Morgan (Bernadine), Jessie O’Neal (Kimberly), Freda Morrison (Gary), Monica O’Neal, Barry O’Neal, and Glenn Pride; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
Services will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Visitation will begin at noon, and the funeral will start at 1PM. Burial will follow at Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery (12317 Holderrieth Rd., Tomball, TX 77375).
