Dagher Boutrous Dagher (1946-2026) passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by his loving family.
 
Dagher graduated from college in Beirut, Lebanon, with a degree in Electrical Engineering and went on to work in the turbine industry in Saudi Arabia. In 1983, he married the love of his life, Colette, and together they built a loving family, raising their two children, Nadine and Peter. After retiring, he moved to Pearland, Texas, in 2003 with his family.
 
He was always focused on ensuring his family's security, supporting their education, and helping them launch successful careers. Dagher found great joy in cooking, gardening, woodworking, and traveling, especially on road trips. Most recently, he cherished spending time with his three beloved grandchildren. He was known for his unwavering kindness, generous spirit, gracious heart, and loving nature. His warmth, humility, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He especially loved family gatherings and spending time with those he loved.
 
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Colette; his children, Nadine and Peter (Megan); his treasured grandchildren, Noah, Madeline, and Claire; his brother, Nassif (Farida); and several beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boutrous and Saada Dagher; his brothers, Bechara (Hoda), Joseph (Afife), and Ibrahim (Hedy); and his sister, Widad (Yacoub).
 
A funeral mass will be held on September 2, 2026, at 7:00pm at Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Catholic Church (11935 Bellfort Village Dr., Houston, TX 77031). The service will begin with a viewing at 6:00pm followed by the Rosary at 6:30pm. The Funeral Liturgy will begin at 7:00pm, followed by a mercy meal in Cedar Hall. 
 
Interment will take place the following day, September 3rd at 10:00am at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077).  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dagher's memory to Our Lady of the Cedars Church.
 
Dagher's kindness, generosity, and devotion to his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He built lasting relationships, created treasured memories, and leaves behind a legacy of compassion, love, and faith that will endure for generations.
