Mr. Wole Emmanuel Ogedengbe Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and community member, passed away on September 06, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, sacrifice, hard work, kindness, and devotion to family.
Born on February 10, 1958, in Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria, Wole was the third of five children. He attended New Church Grammar School and graduated from Government Technical College in Owo before migrating to Houston, Texas, in the late 1980s. Through determination and sacrifice, he worked tirelessly to create a better future for his family and eventually brought his wife and children to the United States.
An entrepreneur at heart, Wole established several businesses, including a family-operated beauty supply store. He was also an active member and former P.R.O.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Rafat Ogedengbe; children, and grandchildren. His life will be remembered not only by the years he lived, but by the sacrifices he made, the family he built, the people he helped, and the faith he carried. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may his legacy live on through generations. Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Christ Apostolic Church (WOSEM) in Houston, Texas. Wole loved laughter, good food, stylish dressing, taking pictures, and spending time with family and friends. Above all, he was a man of faith and a dedicated member of Christ Apostolic Church (WOSEM). He often declared, “Ogo ni fun Oluwa l'oke orun” meaning “Glory be to God in the highest.”
