Billie Faye Holmes

Billie Faye Holmes, 91, born November 1,1927 in Estelline, Texas, went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2019 in Clear Lake, Texas.

 

Billie attended South Texas Business University before going to Beauty School and opening her own salon, which she ran for many years. Later, she co-owned and operated Vince’s Boat Stop with her second husband, Vincent Caravella, located at Watergate Yacht Basin on Clear Lake. Upon retirement in 1994, she enjoyed time with her children, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

 

She is survived by her sons, Gary L. Brandt and wife Rebecca of Spring, and Randy D. Brandt and wife Carol of League City. Eight grandchildren, Gary Brandt Jr., Alicia Trussell and husband Alan, Bobby Brandt and wife Jennifer, Ben Brandt and wife Lizz, Christy Giusti and husband Giulian, Shane Brandt and wife Susan, Chad Brandt, Courtney McConnell and husband Reece. Eleven great-grandchildren, Haleigh McCray and husband Timothy, Jacob Trussell, Hannah Brandt, Isaiah Brandt, Bethany Brandt, Scarlet Giusti, Nola Giusti, Estelle Giusti, Benjamin Brandt, Jasmine Combs, Patrick Follett.

 

She is preceded in death by her father John D. Caldwell, mother Iola Jewel Chambers, step-father Red Chambers, husband Leonard C. Brandt, husband Vincent Caravella, husband Arthur P. Holmes, sister Beverly Phillips and husband Bill, brother Richard Chambers and wife Arlene.
