Donald Nathan Lambert

Donald Nathan Lambert, 83, passed away April 10, 2008 after a long battle with Parkinson’s. Donald was born in Millersburg, PA to Frank & Gertrude Lambert. Donald served in the U.S. Army in the European Theatre of Operation in WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. He was employed by Houston Transit at age 16 and retired as VP. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Emily Roberta Lambert; his daughter, Celia Jumonville; granddaughters, Jennifer McCleskey & husband Scott, Erin Anders & husband Douglas; and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew & Meagan McCleskey and Avery & Ryland Anders. Services are scheduled for Monday, April 14, 2008 at 10:30 am at Houston’s Second Baptist Church (6400 Woodway, Houston, TX 77057) followed by a reception at the church. Burial will be at Memorial Oaks Cemetery (13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079) at 2:00 pm.
