Mom, we are all truly blessed to have you as our mother, teacher and friend. Your kindness and giving spirit meant more to me than you know. Finances weren't that abundant, but love, honesty and happiness, which all have been such important lessons, we all owe to you. Spending your last few dollars, just to see kids smile, spoke volumes of your love and kindness towards others. You gave so much and asked for so little. As a mom, you always did what was best for us and worked hard all the time. You tried to teach us right from wrong, all the while quoting scriptures from the Holy Bible and loving us unconditionally for who we are. The Ten Commandments were your laws and what you lived by. You have earned the rest and peace for all your hard work here on earth. I pray that when you reached heaven, it was just as beautiful as you believed and that your brothers and sister were waiting with open arms and full of smiles. The kids and We will truly miss our talks with you, and hearing your voice(mails). Your concerned calls about everyone's health and personal well being. "A journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step". Mom, I(we) enjoyed being a part of that journey with you, and we all will miss a wonderful Mother/Grandmother/Mother-n-law and a very forgiving person. Hopefully in Heaven, that pot of Coffee and "getting me something to eat"(something that is carved into my memory)and it will happen and you'll be all smiles making me comfortable. You always thought of others before yourself without hesitation. We WILL miss you. God rest your soul.

Mom,
I wish I would have spent Monday night with you & Brenda at the hospital. I have so many things I still wanted to say to you. I've always been so proud of you, for raising 6 kids on your own. It takes a very special woman to be able to do that without spanking us regularly. We were a handful & I will always be grateful for the patience you had with us.
You raised us to beleive in God & I remember some of your favorite scriptures you taught us.
It's hard to believe that we're not going to see or hear
you again. Lp. IC walk in our apartment & for a I forget that you' not there to ask me how my day went. I will truly miss the I calls!
