
Hulon Morgan Mauldin of Houston, Texas, 94, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010 in the nurturing environment of Houston Hospice. He was born in Electra, Texas son of Lillian Etta Thomas Mauldin and Charles Reno Mauldin. He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Charles Drebon Mauldin.
Surviving family members: His loving wife of 53 years, Emily Sue Howard Mauldin is living in Houston, Texas. Daughter: Sharon M. Hill and her husband Windle B. Hill, of Dallas, TX.
In Tribute: Hulon grew up in west Texas. During his youth and as a commercial truck driver he developed a fondness for the land in west Texas especially Palo Duro Canyon,. Hulon attended Texas Tech University. He retired from 25 years of service as an office manager/accountant for William Cameron Wholesale in Houston, TX.
He enjoyed his 33 years of retirement just taking it easy dabbling in reconnecting to the music on his keyboard that he learned to play on the piano as a child. His other interests included carpentry projects and listening to gospel, jazz and classical music. He was fond of witty sayings or twisting words in silly ways or puns to get your attention. He was a devoted husband. His choice was a simple life.
