John Allen James, 80, passed away in Katy, Texas on March 4, 2014. He was born in Houston, Texas on September 25, 1933 to John Jesse James and Lucille Prather James.
He is survived by his son, John Allen James Jr. & wife Jennifer; his daughter, Jodie James; the mother of his children, Sharon James; his grandchildren, Jesse James, Tyler James, Austin James, Sydney Gibson, and Drake Gibson; and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded by his brothers, Charles James and Howard James.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in his name to your favorite charity.
