I knew Candy as a young girl in Houston. We became friends and I was always struck by her good nature. I don't think I ever saw Candy angry the whole time I knew her. She was a sweet person and I'm sure people who knew her were touched by her. It's been 42 years since I last saw her but she looks the same in her picture. May she rest in peace and God bless.
