I knew Mrs. Muñoz through her daughter-in-law Guadalupe Muñoz and I knew she was a lady that worked a lot in order to support her family, that is something I will always remember, sad to know she is no longer living, may her rest in peace.

37 feet to Heaven
I know you are near.
Because you told us it was 37 feet to heaven, we have no fear.
For you have taught us all that God still hears, as we prayed with you, for you and mostly we prayed because of you.
We know that God heard our prayers, we didn’t want you to suffer, and we wanted to be strong.
As we knew the day would come when we would no longer have our mother’s in this world of storms.
Our Mother’s held us close, gave us comfort, made us strong, to the point that we believe we could take on the world and beyond.
But if we ever question our path’s, we run to our mother and they would reassure us prayed with us, for us, because of us. And remind us that we were strong and could take the world and beyond.
For this we thank God and more, for we had our mother’s even if just for a while.
Now we stand alone, we are orphans in this world without our mother’s. But we must hold our own, for we have children and we must be the parent’s the showed us to be.
We too must hold our children, pray with them, for them, because of them and make them strong.
They too must believe they can take on the world and beyond.
For this is the legacy our mother’s left for us.
We pray, we hold strong we wait for heaven’s door to open and see them again.
For Heaven is 37 feet away.
