In Memory of
Roberta (Kitty) Vinson
-

Roberta (Kitty) Vinson went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 25, 2013.

She leaves behind son Dubby, daughter Sherry, brother Stanley (Guy), cousin Marcie and her husband Richard, Aunt Annie Lee, Aunt Mary Ruth and numerous nephews and nieces and their extended families.

Kitty taught Sunday school to the youngsters at Bellaire Methodist Church for many years. She became an 'Avon Lady' over 45 years ago which became a turning point in her life and led her to the many friends she cherished.

Kitty was a wonderful mother who guided her family with beauty and grace. We will miss her dearly.

The family would like to thank all the family and friends who showed so much love to her in her final days. A special thank you to her caregiver, Jaune Brown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the church she loved.

Bellaire United Methodist Church, 4417 Bellaire Blvd, Bellaire, TX 77401

I Did Not Die
Mary E Faye

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripended grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in gentle flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

My mother was everything to me. She stood by me during so many events in my life both happy and sad with understanding, compassion and strength. We had so many wonderful lunches together. She is and will always be missed. Until we see each other again....

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (Revelation 21:4).

Dear Ones: What a beautiful gentle, kind, and loving spirit. Your mother was a source of goodness and love. She was a tower of strength and the world on Sanford Street will remember and miss her very much. Prayers to each and everyone of you now and in the days to come.

Dubby/Sherry - No words are adequate to exprees the sadness we feel on your loss. As one of the Sanford kids, growing up with neighbors like your mom Kitty was was a wonderful experience. We always knew we had a safe haven at your house. May the Lord bless you and keep you in this time of loss and know that the prayers of all those touched by your mom are with you.

Kitty has been my friend for over 40 years. She had a way to
always make us feel special by the interest she showed in whatever we talked about. She was so caring and loving. She
will truly be missed. The service today was a beautiful
tribute. Our prayers are with you all.

I am just now learning that you are now with the Lord. You are such a gentle and loving individual whom I knew for all my of my 26 years of living in Post Oak Manor. You saw both of my children from infants evolve in young men. You are missed and I send my prayers to your family.

Best regards,
Barbara
