Rose C. Bañuelos

Rose C. Bañuelos, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026. She was born on September 12, 1945, and lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to her family.

Rose dedicated 25 years of her life working for United Airlines, where she was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and commitment. She took pride in her career and the relationships she built along the way.

She was married to the love of her life, Jorge De Jesus Bañuelos, with whom she shared many years of love, partnership, and cherished memories. Family meant everything to Rose, and her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and care.

She is survived by her sister, Olga Soda of Converse, Texas; her daughters, Marta and Anna Bañuelos; and her son, Jorge Bañuelos II. She is also survived by her grandchildren Johnny, Daniel, Bianca, Justin, Marissa, Jenna, Jaden, and Anthony, as well as her great-grandchildren Nico, Alaina, Isaac Jr., Elijah, Noah, Hailey, Makayla, and Tobias.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo Bustamante Castillo and Maria Jesus Nogales; her sister, Minnie Bacon; her beloved spouse, Jorge J. Bañuelos; and her great-grandchild, Nathan Garza.

Rose was a caring and selfless woman whose love touched everyone she met. Her faith guided her throughout her life and gave her strength in all seasons. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love will live on forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. Viewing and Rosary will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by Mass at 1:00 PM.
