On July 23, 2022, Bonnie Brookshire Watson died in The Woodlands, Texas after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was 72 years old.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Dan Watson and their children, John (and Katie) Watson of Houston and Reed (and Janice) Watson and granddaughter Emily of Palo Alto California. Bonnie is also survived by her sister Sharon and brother-in-law Kameron Kneisley of Conroe, Texas and brother Van Brookshire (and Kristie) of Cold Spring, Texas.
Bonnie Brookshire was born on September 20, 1949, in Tahoka, Texas. She graduated from Denver City High School and went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy degree in clinical neuropsychology from the University of Houston.
She worked at the University of Texas Medical School-Houston, Baylor College of Medicine, and her private practice.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am August 4, 2022, at Forest Park - The Woodlands.
