Carl Rudolph Erickson, Jr. passed away on May 18, 2007 in Houston at age 82. Born in Port Arthur, Texas, and educated at North Texas State University, he served in the Navy in WWII in the Pacific theater, as well as the Korean conflict. He was a long time employee of Tennessee Gas and Tenneco. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Rachael Erickson, and his children Vance Erickson and Eileen Stuhr. He was also a devoted grandfather to Paul Erickson, Julia Kenworthy, Kennan Stuhr, Carl Erickson, Austin Stuhr, and Rachael Stuhr, and great-grandfather to Charlie Kenworthy. The visitation and funeral service will be held Thursday May 24, 2007 beginning at 12 noon at St. Cuthbert’s Episcopal Church, 15330 Willow River Dr., Houston, TX 77095. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
