Carolyn Gerhart

Mary Carolyn Gerhart, 80, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 12, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 2, 1935 in Dalhart, Texas to Henry & Addie Mae Welch Sanders.

She is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, Billy Gerhart Sr.; three sons, Cary Gerhart, Carl Gerhart, and Billy Gerhart Jr.; her daughter, Lisa Williams; eleven grandchildren, Morgan Gerhart, Jonathan Gerhart, Kyle Prichard, Beverlea Semmes, Kaelynn Prichard, Emilie Gerhart, Beckie Gerhart, CJ Gerhart, Jacob Offutt, Dakota Williams, and Olivia Gerhart; four great-grandchildren, Padon Gerhart, Madeleine Semmes, Zane Gerhart, and Noah Semmes; her brothers, James Sanders & wife Glenna, and Clifton Shirley; and her sister, Neta McAdams.

Visitation will be Monday, May 18, 2015 from 5 to 8 at the Hidden Valley Church of Christ (9521 Sunnywood Dr, Houston, TX 77038, 281-447-5422). Following the burial at Houston National Cemetery at 10:30 on Tuesday morning, May 19th will be a Memorial Service at 1PM at the church.
