In Memory of
Desiree Nicole Golemon
-

Desiree Nicole Golemon was granted her angel wings on December 21 2009. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Desiree had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life.

Desiree’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her infectious , never-ending smile brought so much joy to our family.

Through her long and tough battle, she gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. We honestly believe that the lesson Desiree taught us in life is you need to have the courage to face anything and everything head-on. She loved to sing any song and go to church at Sugarcreek Baptist. She attended Austin High School and was a freshman.

Desiree is survived by her loving parents, Michelle Dupuy and Bobby Golemon,; her step-father Patrick Dupuy; brothers Bobby and Donovan Golemon; paternal grandparents Bob and Elaine Golemon; maternal grandparents Marcie and Shannon Beardsley and Rick and Peggy Banta; uncles David and Jonathan Golemon; and aunts Sheryl Zeger, Ilene Morey, Erlene Daughtery, Mollie Briscoe, Shan Therrell and Joni Hearne.

I remember holding Desiree when she was just minutes old. Now she is being held in the Father's arms. We are all so sorry for you and Bobby....for all of you. You're in our prayers.
