In Memory of
Dina Fitzgerald
-

Luvidina “Dina” Fitzgerald, 48, was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. After a courageous battle with Covid, she passed away in her hometown of Houston, TX on November 29, 2021 with her husband at her side.

Dina was born to Antonio and Lilia Delgado on December 1, 1972. Graduate of Waltrip HS and University of Phoenix with a degree in Human Resources. She met her husband, Shannon Fitzgerald, while working in the bakery at Randall’s Food Markets. They were united in marriage on January 14, 1995. Together, they had 2 children: Brian and Kate.

The simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Dina. Dinner with her family, quiet evenings with her dogs, wine with everyone, birthday celebrations with close friends, and lunch with her husband every Friday at Floyd’s. She offered a smile to everyone, advice only when asked, her deepest love for her children, and firm discipline reserved for her husband.

Dina is survived by her loving husband, Shannon Fitzgerald; their 2 children, Brian and Kate; parents, Antonio Delgado and Lilia; brother, Raymond Delgado and wife LaDawn; brother-in-law, Kevin Fitzgerald and wife Karen; brother-in-law, Kelly Fitzgerald; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by baby sister, Juanita Delgado; father-in-law, John Fitzgerald III; mother-in-law, Audrey Fitzgerald; brother-in-law, Shawn Fitzgerald.

Services will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 and the funeral will begin at 11 officiated by Pastor Dr. Laurence White. Burial will follow at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery Cyfair.

The family would like to especially thank the doctors and nurses who cared for Dina in the final months, and to all our friends and family who have been so supportive and helpful.

I was privileged to have known Dina during our short time together spent as co-workers but I'm sure that I speak for my Wells Fargo team that she will never be forgotten. Your work on earth is done Dina and may you rest in peace. I will miss you, my friend. My sincerest condolences to the Fitzgerald family.
