In Memory of
Elizabeth Maria Davis
-

Elizabeth Maria Davis, of San Francisco, CA passed away at the age of 84 on October 17th, 2022 in Texas City, TX after long battle with several long-term illnesses. She was born on August 19th, 1938 in Beaumont, TX to Percy and Ebella Mouton.

Elizabeth graduated from Mission High school in San Francisco, CA. Right after high school she went into the work force as a nurse where she worked for several years until she decided on a career change. Elizabeth then went on to work for the City of San Francisco driving the city bus (MUNI), where she retired in 2005. Elizabeth enjoyed attending mass on Sunday, cooking for any and all that were hungry, doing her nightly cross word puzzle and curling up on the couch with that big green bowl of freshly popped pop-corn watching a good movie.

Everyone who came to Elizabeth’s home was treated like they have been a part of the family all their life. Once you are in, you are in & you could always expect to get a hot plate and a present under the Christmas tree. She was also known for her compassion and listening ear. No matter what the problem she was always there to give that motherly advise and a listening ear.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister Betty Higgins of San Francisco, CA; daughter Eleanor Hall & her husband Kenneth Hall of Elk Grove, CA, daughter Gwendolen Armstrong of Marietta, CA, sons David Dwayne Collier of Vallejo, CA, Alvin Brown of Vallejo, CA and Dale Hollins, Jr. & his wife Tammy Hollins of Sacramento, CA; 9 grand-children; Erica Hunter, David Collier, Shimaka Gillispie, Stacey Braxton, Larry Armstrong Jr., Starleetha Payne, Ronald Hollins, Jr., Deaonte Brown & Javonte Brown; 24 great-grand-children; 3 great-great-grand-children and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
