In Memory of
Gwenna Ann-Marie Doyle
-

In the early morning hours of Sunday, December 22, 2024, Our Heavenly Father decided that He needed another angel in Heaven and took our beloved Gwenna into His loving arms.

Gwenna Ann-Marie Doyle was born on September 21, 2010 in Houston, Texas.  She loved and was loved by all, and brought joy to everyone who she knew.  She never met a stranger, and her warm smile brightened every room..  She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her parents, Michael Garth Doyle & Laura Jeanne Watson Doyle; her 3 brothers, Logan Samuel Cunningham, Wesley Ryan Cunningham, and Michael Richard Doyle; grandparents, Diana Sue Doyle, and Robin & Jeanne Watson; Aunts, Lynn Marie Julian & husband James Craig Julian, and Lee Watson; cousins, Kelsey Faith Julian & her daughter Hazel, Abigail Grace Julian, Trinity Elizabeth Julian, Hannah Catherine Julian, Alexis Mae Derscheid, Cordelia Jane Derscheid, and Daria Jeanne Derscheid; Great Aunt & Uncle, Linda and Robert Wilson; and a host of special friends at Houston's First Cypress children's ministry, and the GoCo Homeschooling group.

Special thanks to the Thru the Roof Ministry at the First Baptist Church (Loop Campus) for being so helpful and supportive through her early years and beyond.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Houston's First Baptist Church (Cypress Campus), with the Visitation starting at 12pm and the Funeral Service beginning at 1pm.  The Burial will follow at Brookshire Memorial Oaks in Brookshire, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Gwenna's name be made to Texas Children's Hospital, Houston's First Baptist Church, or the charity of your choice.

Although my time with her was very brief, I could tell she was in a very loving space with all of her family. Each of you cared for her and had amazing patience and concern for her wellbeing. I hope all of you will persevere through this and still celebrate with each other during these hard times, this and future holiday seasons. She isn’t gone, she lives in all of you.

Our deepest condolences. I haven't seen Gwenna in a while but I fondly remember her at GOCO. She was such a sweetheart. Hugs to all of you.

Gwenna was the sweetest, happiest girl I had the pleasure of seeing every Sunday when she was younger at Thru the Roof, VBS, and recently was so overjoyed to see her after a long while at SuperPlace Camp. I can still hear her sweet, joyful voice in my head. At a very young age, Gwenna touched my heart in a way that is only possible through the love of our Lord. She truly was an angel on this Earth. I will miss her greatly but am comforted by the fact that she is with our Lord in heaven. Sending prayers and hugs over y’all’s precious family.
