In Memory of
Nancy Lee Boos
-

Nancy Lee Boos, of League City, Texas, passed away at the age of 74 after multiple health issues, on 11/8/2021 in Texas City, Texas.

She was born on 10/24/47 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to Frank J. and Anna J. Morgan.

Nancy graduated from Pottstown High in 1966.

Nancy was married to Arthur Boos, Sr for 45 years before his sudden passing in January 2016. Although they went to the same high school, Pottstown High, they did not develop the enduring relationship that they had until later when they met at Pottstown Hospital where Nancy was working as a Unit Secretary. They married in 1971 and started their journey together in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, where they lived until Arthur got a job in Texas in 1990. They moved to League City where they remained until their respective passings.

Nancy had many different jobs through the years, secretary, substitute teacher but the job she enjoyed the most was taking care of her family as a wife and mother. She especially enjoyed cooking during the holidays and sharing festive occasions with family. Family trips were special to her and she always enjoyed visiting family, gathering for family reunions and camping/fishing at any beach. She enjoyed the zoos where she lived and appreciated the primate exhibits the most. She was an enthusiastic yard sale fan, dragging the children on many an early weekend morning to "get the best" items.

Nancy enjoyed crafts of all types, but especially crocheting and would often gift a blanket she made to family members. At Christmas, she would let the children decorate the tree but after, while the children slept, she would rearrange the entire tree to make it amazingly beautiful.

Nancy is survived by her brother Dennis "Denny" Morgan, wife Connie and children, Michael, Ryan and Janelle; her daughter Denise Young Oppelt, husband Randy and children Jessie and husband Justin and their children Justin Jr and Josie, son Zachary and wife Alyssa and their child Augustus, son Landon and girlfriend Cheyenne and daughter Lilly; her son Arthur Boos, Jr and wife Bonnie and her son Rafael; her son Franklin Boos and wife Sydney and his son Christian Lette and their children Ella and Ethan; her daughter Ann Marie Boos and fiancée David Crawford and her children Mia Angela Arellano and Alayna Lee Day; her nephew Jason Quinn and wife Anna; her niece Roxi Farrington and husband Mark and their two children; and her niece Ruby Boos.

Nancy was preceded death by her husband Arthur Boos Sr, her parents Frank and Anna Morgan and her granddaughter Angel Lee.
