In Memory of
Timothy Patrick Walsh
-

Timothy Patrick Walsh, age 73, of Houston, Texas, entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Tim was born in Boscobel, Wisconsin on March 31, 1951, to Gwendolyn and James Walsh.

Tim received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville and his Master Degree in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Tim retired from Bechtel Energy after 34 years, as a Control Systems Engineer/Engineering Group Supervisor. There he met his beloved wife, Kim Isabell.

Tim was a devoted husband, stepfather and grandfather. He was known as “Papaw” to all his grandchildren. He had an undeniable love of dogs. He was never without more than one in his life. He loved sports. He was the ultimate Green Bay Packer fan, (aka) “cheesehead”. Tim never met a stranger and was always there, front and center, for those that needed help. He was our subdivision handyman, always willing to help them in their time of need. His hobbies included restoring vintage cars.  He loved our Sunday morning trips to Starbucks for a hot cup of coffee in his Nash Metropolitan. He won 1st place for, “original stock”, for restoring a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette in a car competition at the George R. Brown convention center. He was best known for his quick wit, his sense of humor and for being quite the prankster at work.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 28 years, Kim. He is survived by his sister, Diane Matson (Dan); and his stepchildren, Tiffany Chang (Kevin), stepson, James “Jae” Isabell, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, James M. Walsh and Gwendolyn E. Walsh.
