In Memory of
Tinuade Victoria Familuyi
-

Tinuade Victoria Familuyi, 32, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at MD Anderson, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 17, 1992, in Nigeria. Tinuade was the eldest daughter in her family.

Tinuade graduated from Elsik High School in 2011 from Alief ISD, Houston, TX. She later enrolled at Louisiana State University, where she earned dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Business. She worked at Chase Bank before proceeding to Texas Southern University to study Law. After graduating and successfully passing the bar, she obtained licenses to practice law in both New York and Texas and went on to work as a Corporate Attorney. She was deeply passionate about her profession and carried out her work with dignity, empathy, and compassion, always ready to help others. While in Houston, she faithfully attended Christ Apostolic Church (WOSEM), and during her years in Dallas, she worshiped at Social Dallas. She enjoyed reading, cooking, hiking, and baking. She loved her family dearly and was known as a mentor, coach, motivator, and teacher to her community.

Tinuade is survived by her loving father, Babatunde Familuyi; her mother, Bosede Familuyi; three brothers, Jide, Benjamin, and Jeremiah; one sister, Mercy Familuyi; and her dog, Oluwaseun.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2025, at Christ Apostolic Church (WOSEM) in Houston from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with viewing to follow at Forest Park Southwest Cemetery in Richmond, Texas from 1:30 p.m. to 2:50 p.m., and interment to follow at 3:00 p.m.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the members of CAC WOSEM and Social Dallas. They extend special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and non-medical staff at MD Anderson ICU for their care and compassion, as well as to all her friends, her chair setup team and cherished Bible study group at Social Dallas in Dallas, TX.

We thank God for Tinuade’s beautiful life, her gentle spirit, and the enduring legacy of love, faith, and service she leaves behind. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in the assurance that she rests safely in the arms of her Savior.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” – Psalm 116:15
