Elinor Chandler Fenner, 92, went home to be with her Lord on May 28 after a long life full of love and adventure. Born on March 18, 1915, she lived most of her life in St. Louis, Missouri, before moving to Houston in October, 2003. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 30, at 1:00 PM, at Bethel Independent Presbyterian Church, 825 Bering Drive, Houston, TX 77057 (713-782-8948) with Dr. Michael Boys, Officiant.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Otto H. Fenner. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, she is survived by her children, Richard Fenner and his wife Kaylon, Deborah Rankin and her husband Wiley; grandchildren, Kinsey Fenner, Chad Fenner and his wife Allison; great grandson, Elijah Fenner; and loving nephews, nieces and many friends.

My condolences to the family. I know the great loss you are suffering. My father: Otto Stallman and Elinor Kottkamp Fenner were cousins, through Christian Kottkamp and Heinrich Stallman. The last letter my mother received from Elinor was dated December 18, 1986. My mother, Betty Stallman and Otto Stallman are both gone now.
