Herbie Raulerson, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 3, 2007.
Herbie was born in Grand Coteau, Louisiana. She received both her Bachelor and Masters of Education degrees from Southwestern and loved teaching school for many years. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Hugh, after 58 years of marriage. She is also survived by her two daughters, Adrianne Peck and Judy Butler and her husband Albert Butler; two grandchildren, Lisa Croft and her husband Dearl Croft, and Kyle Butler; and two great grandchildren, Alyssa and Trey Croft. Herbie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A private family service will take place on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at St. Charles Church with burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau, Louisiana.
