My dear Kevin, Since the moment I was given the news that you were gone I could not believe it. I couldn't believe you were taken from me, I couldn't believe you were gone, I couldn't believe God would take you so young. I couldn't believe I would never talk to you again, see you again, be able to call you just to chat. You truly are my best friend and husband. You will never be forgotten and always loved. Give our girls Kelli, Sandy, Molly and Coco a special kiss from Mommy and tell them I will be seeing you all soon. Minnie, Layla and I miss you so much Daddy. My heart is aching right now. Just know that you are loved and missed by more people than you would have ever imagined. You will always live in my heart. I love you, Kevin. Tanya

Kevin was always a great friend of mine. We became really good friends in high school, but when he moved to Houston we lost touch. He found me on Facebook in 2004, and we'd been communicating back and forth pretty regularly since then. A few years ago we got a chance to meet in Austin for a few days, and that was a nice time to catch up. Kevin always found ways to overcome adversity. He was smarter than he thought he was, and I cherished our friendship. My friend, I will truly miss you. You touched so many lives with your honest charm. Your spirit will live on through all of us.
