Richard D. Holder

Richard D. Holder, 36, passed away on May 15, 2019 in Cypress, Texas. He was born on March 24, 1983 in Houston, Texas.

He is survived by his mother, Karen D. Ali (and his beloved Step-father Jay C. Ali); Father William J. Marshalek, brothers; Anthony Gonzales, Dustin Ali, Tyler S. Marshalek and Travis Marshalek, sisters: Alexis Ali and Savannah Ali (and her partner Luis Aponte); Uncles: Rodney D. Dotson, Thomas S. Marshalek, Michael R. Marshalek and Robert E. Marshalek; Aunt Lisa Dotson, Great Aunt Elizabeth Solomon,Grandparents, James and Laura Ali; and grandmother, Dona Marshalek.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Suzanna Holder. Grandfather William G. Marshalek.

Burial of his ashes will be on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. at the Houston National Cemetery.

Followed by a lunch and celebration of Richard's Life at

St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church

My family and I are so very sorry for your loss. Richard left us too soon. Please know that God is eager to be there for you during this very difficult time. He is also eager to undo what our enemy Death has brought upon us. (1 Corinthians 15:26) From Jehovah God's viewpoint your beloved Richard is in a peaceful and deep sleep. (1 Thessalonians 4:13,14). His desire is to raise up those who have been taken from us by our enemy Death, so that they can enjoy a beautiful life on a paradise Earth according to His original purpose for humans. May the God of All Comfort be with you until that day. (Psalm 37:29; John 5:28,29 and 2 Corinthians 4:7)
