Shirley Jean Copeland Guinn, 79, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Gene Allen Guinn; daughters, Terri Converse & husband Ed; Vicki Parmely & husband Art; son,Scott A. Guinn & wife Kellie; grandchildren, Nicole Converse, Matthew Converse, Courtney Boyd Reed, Devin Boyd, Dylan Parmely, Bryce Parmely, Sadie Guinn, Lyndsie Guinn, and Garrett Guinn; great-grandchildren, Noah, Austyn, Peyton, Casen, and Liam; and sisters Patricia Williams, and Janet Hightower.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in the Chapel of Houston's First Baptist Church (7401 Katy Freeway). The visitation will begin at 10 AM, and the funeral at 11AM. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery (Hwy 59 at Lauder Road).
