Winnie Mae Evans Bayless

Winnie Bayless, 75, a resident of Needville, Texas passed away peacefully on December 11, 2006 in Houston, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 7, 1931 in Abbeyville, Louisiana to Douglass J. Evans and Amy G. Welch Evans. She is preceded in death by her daughter Connie Garrett and brother Walter J. Evans. She is survived by her son Doug Richmond and wife Patty; daughter Wanda Lawless and husband Tim; sister Norma Wheeler; son-in-law Roger Garrett; sister-in-law Margie Evans; and nephew John Passmore and wife Donna. She also leaves to mourn her passing six grandchildren: Pam Griffis, Sean Garrett, Ray Richmond, Mark Garrett, Michael Lawless and Holly Chapman. She was blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Tristyn Garrett, Amy Dietrich, Baylee Hale, Brad Dietrich, Corbie Chapman, Connie Griffis and Luke Garrett.
