Anthony "Tony" Thomas Grogan Valentinis-Dee, Sr., 51 passed away on April 5, 2023 in Houston Texas. Tony was born on October 6, 1971 to parents, Thomas Catching Valentinis-Dee and Sharon Lynn Sandefer.
Tony spent over 25 years as in the profession as a wrecker driver. To Tony, driving a wrecker was more than just his job, it was his passion. He was a valued friend and employee at Car King in Houston, Texas.
In his spare time Tony enjoyed fishing, swimming, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Tony always had a smile on his face and spread positivity wherever he went.
Tony is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Catching Valentinis-Dee; and his grandparents, James and Ruby Valentinis-Dee, Vernon Jackson Sandefer, and Leone (Sandefer) Nye.
He is survived by his sons, Anthony Thomas Grogan Valentinis-Dee, Jr. ("T.J.") and fiancée Emily Festavan, of Birmingham, Alabama, Joshua Shane Valentinis-Dee of Richmond, Texas, and Daniel Hunter Valentinis-Dee of Orange, Texas; stepdaughters, Ana Sillis and Dulce Sillis, both of Alabaster, Alabama; his mother and stepfather, Sharon Sandefer Barrs and Donald Barrs; his brother, Roger Taylor, of Houston, Texas; 5 grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tony loved his family more than anything else and was loved by all that knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Beresford Funeral Service from 12pm to 2pm.
