PRAY THE ROSARY
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

Ardelle was a great friend and travel companion. We fondly remember the many Friday evenings she spent in our home sipping wine, eating pizza, and sharing travel stories. We had been talking about a trip to South America--the one part of the world Ardelle told us she had never been. We are greatly saddened that we will not be able to share that adventure and good time with her.

Ardelle Hamilton was a kind, funny, encouraging educator who inspired me to return to college to complete the degree that I had begun many years ago. She leaves behind a legacy of students who will remember her smile and her dedication to teaching not only academics, but also morals and values. Rest in peace Ardelle. You will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Ardelle while Superintendent in Okinawa, Japan, and Ardelle was principal of Bechtel Elementary School. We later worked together when I was Supt. in Heidelberg and selected her to be principal of Mannheim Elementary School, one of the largest in Germany. I was so pleased when I learned she became Asst. Supt in Korea a few years after I retired. She was a fine educator and a good friend. She will be missed by friends and family alike.

Ardelle called to offer her assistance when I became the principal at St. Joseph Catholic School in Killeen. Over the years, I came to know what a compassionate person she really was. I enjoyed our rides together going to conferences. She will be missed by many. May she rest in peace. My prayers will be with her family during the funeral.

I had the honor of knowing Ardelle and Bill during my years in Germany. Ardelle and I worked closely with the Phi Delta Kappa (PDK)chapter for many years. She was an excellent educator and very dedicated to the field of education. She touched so many lives of students in such a positive way.

My deepest sympathy.

Ardelle was a dear friend, an excellent educator, and an outstanding leader. We were very close and shared often when she was the principal of Mannheim Elementary and I served in the same capacity at Patrick Henry Elementary in Heidelberg, Germany. We were active Phi Delta Kappa (PDK) members and were both past presidents of the Okinawa and Germany Chapters. Many times, Ardelle, Bill, Dean, and I would have dinner together in Germany on the Haupt Strasse in Heidelberg or Itaewon in Seoul,Korea. After she retired from DoDEA and whenever I visited my sister in Dallas, we would meet to go to the museums, nice restaurants or shopping. I will miss my girlfriend.

I was privileged to work with Ardelle when she was principal of St. Mary's School in Temple, TX. As Associate Superintendent in the Diocese of Austin, I often visited St. Mary's with Margaret McGettrick our Superintendent and our visits were most enjoyable both personally and professionally. She was loving and caring to all who interacted with her and served with dedication in her ministry as a Catholic educator. My condolences go out to her family and many friends who will truly miss her physical presence in their lives.
