In Memory of
Augustine Adeyele Adebanjo
-

Augustine Adeyele Adebanjo, 26, passed away suddenly at his home in Phoenix, Arizona on February 9, 2025.   He was born in Nigeria on October 12, 1998.

Yele was a bold and outspoken young man. His presence always filled the room and is someone you never forget after having a conversation with him.  He was also a devoted Catholic and was confirmed by the church. He attended Christ the king Catholic college and Babcock University. An ambitious and hardworking young man, he embarked on his Master's program at Grand Canyon University.

Yele kept a good relationship with the family and his free spirit brought a lot of light and laughter to the family.  One of the many things Yele loved was grandma’s cooking, and he would always rave about it. Yele loved a good, cooked meal... no wonder he was the tallest in the family!

His love for family and friends was his priority which showed in his actions.  You will be missed our beloved brother, son, and grandson and will forever remain in our hearts.

He is survived by Father Ademola Adebanjo, Mother Tinuola Adebanjo and siblings Ademide, Tolulope and Yosola. Grandma’s, Uncles and Aunties.

Funeral mass will be held at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church at 11am on Friday, February 21, 2025 immediately followed by the interment.

Yele was full of smiles, good spirited and friendly to his peers. He knows how to make you laugh and was always fun to be around. A very lively individual that brought light wherever he was and May his light keep shining forth where he is in heaven with his Heavenly Father and may be find the peace he deserves.

Yele thank you for the joy you brought your parents, siblings and those that you came across during your brief period on earth. Your larger than life speaks volume for who you were. We thank God that you are now with our Lord Jesus Christ. Rest on dear Adeyele

I never met you Yele, I have known your father for more than 40 years and I know how dear and precious you must have been to him 💛. I profoundly feel your loss and the only consolation is that you are in a better place...rest in peace.

Adeyele, may your soul rest in perpetual peace in the bosom of the Almighty. I never met you but knew your father for over 42+ years and he always talked of you so lovingly.
