Benjamin Edward Del Giorno

Benjamin Edward Del Giorno passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2023, in Sugar Land, Texas at the age of 82. He was born on October 18, 1940, in Ozone Park, New York, to Dominic Del Giorno and Carmela (Ripoli) Del Giorno.

Benjamin is survived by his loving wife of nearly 56 years, Carolyn (Meo) Del Giorno; his daughter, Adrienne Del Giorno; son, Dominic Del Giorno; granddaughter, Gracie Lee Garcia; and three sisters, Mary Lou DeCarlo, Barbara Rothkin, and Debra Pernice.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service, located at 13501 Alief Clodine Rd., Houston, TX 77082. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at 1:15 pm at Houston National Cemetery, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.

Benjamin was known for his intelligence, humor, kindness, patience, and warm personality. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Benjamin loved spending time with his family and was especially fond of his role as a grandfather. Watching his granddaughter Gracie grow and learn brought him great joy. He also loved riding his motorcycle and taking long rides.

Benjamin's passing has left a void in the lives of those who knew him. His memory will be cherished by his family and friends, and his legacy will continue to live on through them.
