In Memory of
Cyril Jidenma Molokwu
-

Cyril Jidenma "CJ" Molokwu was born on September 30, 1959, in Umukwa Village, Awka to Late Chief Felix Aniekwe Molokwu and Theresa Molokwu. He completed his primary education at Saint Faith Primary School and Hossana Hill Primary School in Abakiliki Ebonyi State, Nigeria. He continued his secondary education at Oraukwu Secondary School. He received his HND at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu State, Nigeria, and his PGD in Business Administration at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria.

After completing his education, he began working at First Bank of Nigeria, where he rose to a senior level in his sector and served as the labor union secretary. While working as a banker, Cyril later met and married Ngozi Christy Okeke, who, in 1999, helped facilitate his migration to the United States. The couple settled and had two children, Chiamaka and Kosisochukwu Molokwu.

While in the United States, Cyril returned to school to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), working with various healthcare companies over the years. During this time, Cyril also became increasingly devoted to his Christian faith. He enjoyed praying warfare prayers and had always believed in the power of prayer, fasting, and deliverance, which led him to become a member at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM). Cyril served as a Minister at MFM New Glory, then left to join MFM Rehoboth as a member. Even when Cyril was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had to postpone his work, he remained faithful and prayerful.

Unfortunately, Cyril succumbed to his illness on June 22, 2022; succeeded by his children, Kosisochukwu and Chaimaka Molokwu, and his Siblings Kenneth, Chinwe, and Igwedinma.

Services will be on Saturday, July 23, 2022, in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 11 am to noon, and the funeral service will begin at noon. Burial will follow shortly at the Carmen Nelson Bostick Cemetery “A Garden of God.”
