Freddy Omar Diaz was born on July 01, 1969 in La Lima, Honduras to Julia Flores Baquis and Mario Diaz. Freddy had 7 siblings, Edgardo, Eduardo, Hugo, Marco Tulio, Nora, Marlon, and Cintia Yoselyn. Freddy became a father at a young age to Freddy Diaz and Ana Diaz. During his early 20’s he came to Houston, Texas to pursue a better life in the United States. In 1990 he met his wife Marina Diaz. Shortly after marriage, Freddy and his wife Marina welcomed their first child, Katherine Vanessa Diaz and five years later their son Jordy Diaz. He was a loving attentive husband and father, and was always willing to help his family and friends. He worked at both Foodarama and Fiesta for over twelve years earning multiple employee of the month recognitions and awards at Fiesta. Growing up, Freddy enjoyed watchingand playing soccer. Two of his favorite teams he cheered for were the Honduras national soccer team and FC Barcelona. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies, and playing video games with his children. Freddy will be greatly missed but will always be remembered as a hardworking man, loving husband and father, great brother, and beloved uncle.
Freddy Omar Diaz nació el dia 1 de julio de 1969 en La Lima, Honduras a Julia Flores y Mario Diaz. Freddy tenía 7 hermanos, Edgardo, Eduardo, Hugo, Marco Tulio, Nora, Marlon y Cintia . Freddy se convirtió en padre a una temprana edad de Freddy Diaz y Ana Diaz. A la edad de 20 años dejo su tierra nativa de Honduras para venir a Houston, Texas en búsqueda de una vida mejor. En 1990 conoció a su esposa Marina Díaz. Poco después del matrimonio, Freddy y su esposa Marina recibieron a su primer hija, Katherine Vanessa Diaz y cinco años después a su hijo Jordy Diaz. Era un esposo y padre amoroso y atento, servicial y siempre dispuesto a ayudar a sus familiares y amigos. Freddy trabajo en Foodarama y en Fiesta durante más de doce años, ganando múltiples reconocimientos y premios al empleado del mes en Fiesta. Desde pequeño, Freddy disfrutaba ver y jugar al fútbol. Uno de sus equipos favoritos fue la selección de fútbol de Honduras y FC Barcelona. Freddy también disfutaba convivir con su familia, viendo películas, y jugando videojuegos con sus hijos. Extrañaremos mucho a Freddy, y aun que ya no este con nosotros siempre se le recordará como un hombre trabajador, un esposo y padre amoroso, un buen hermano y un tio querido.
