DR. GUS O. REYES, JR., 83, passed away October 3, 2009. He is survived by wife Dorothy of 61 years. Sons: G. Wayne Reyes and wife Karen, Dr. Alan D. Reyes and wife Dawn, and Homer K. Reyes and wife Julie. Grandchildren: Katie Pearce and husband Bill, and Allison Reyes.
He served his country during World War II in the United States Marine Corps.
Dr. Reyes had a successful chiropractic practice in the Pasadena area for 40 years. He served on the Board of Texas Chiropractic College. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dr. Reyes’ name to Texas Chiropractic College, 5912 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505-1699.
Visitation will be held October 6 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Beresford Funeral Home, 13501 Alief Clodine Road, Houston. Funeral services Wednesday, October 7, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel at Houston National Cemetery.
