Helen was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and Friend. She was a woman of strong family values, and a devoted Christian. She was a real prayer warrior. She was always concerned about the future of those she loved as well as others. She dedicated and committed her life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. She looked forward to the house made not with hands, eternal in the Heavens, prepared by the Lord Jesus Christ for her. She had great confidence in the saving power of the Lord and the power of the blood of Jesus to cleanse, heal, and deliver from any force coming against anyone....

A graveside service will be held at Calvary Hill Cemetery (21715 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338) on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 10:00 AM.

My warmest and deepest condolences go out to all the family, even Auntie Evelyn up in Brooklyn.(smile).
Momma Shores was a sweet, kind lady who always had a kind word and a warm spot in her heart for me.
She was like a 2nd mother for many trying times of my younger life and I will always be indebted to her for that.
I pray God will be with you all during this time and will bless each of you and give you strength and peace.
She is with God now, and nothing on this Earth can compare to that.
All of my Love to you All!

I love my grandma more than words can say! She taught me so much about the Lord and when I had questions about the Bible she was the one I called! I am going to miss her but I feel her in spirit guiding me! She was a wonderful lady and will truly be missed !

Helen was one of the most thoughtful and generous people I have ever met. While fighting for her own life she was still pursueing the welfare of others. I admire, love, and miss her so much!
