He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Judith Spell; sons, Jeff Vickrey & wife Yvonne, and David Vickrey & partner Rodney Hoover; daughter, MichelleCalvert & husband Scott; and his nieces & nephews, Lisa Duderstadt, Andy Spell & wife Lynda, Darrell Spell, Lynda Worthington, Randy Worthington & wife Jeannie, James Bryant & wife Delane, and Ronnie Bryant & wife Linda.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Stewart; his sister, Louise Dye & her husband Homer; and his brother, Bill Spell.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service, with the funeral at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at 1:45 PM at the Houston National Cemetery.
