Jose Dionicio Amaya, of El Salvador, passed away at the age of 78 after a courageous fight against multiple illnesses on July 28th, 2023 in Houston, Texas. He was born on May 24th, 1945 in Sensuntepeque, Cabañas, El Salvador to Jesus Amaya and Zara Mauricio.
Jose was a hardworking man that loved to watch soccer, fish, and was always happy when he was surrounded by his family and friends. Jose was married to Concepcion Guerra, they met in a laundromat inside their apartment complex where their love story began.
Jose is survived by his loving wife, Concepcion Del Carmen Guerra, his sister Maria Amaya, and his daughter in law Roxana Carolina Andrews & husband Jeremy, along with his grandchildren, Selvin Amaya & his wife Maria, Cindy Amaya, Jason Amaya, Miguel Solis, Nevaeh Andrews, and Nahiara Andrews.
