Joshua Brandon Phillips, 26, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012. He was born on November 13, 1985, in Houston, Texas. He moved to Mayfield Heights, Ohio while in Middle School and graduated from Mayfield High School in Mayfield Village Ohio in 2004. He was a member of First Baptist Church of South Euclid. He moved back to Houston in 2009 and worked in Air Conditioning
and Building Maintenance. Josh enjoyed volunteering for Habitat for Humanity while in Cleveland, and the Houston Food Bank and Rawfully Organic Co-op once he returned to Houston. He was generous with his time as well as his passion for life.
Josh is survived by his mother Kimberly (Fewell) Phillips; his father, Mark Phillips, step-mother Kathleen (McLaughlin) Phillips; sister Heather (Phillips) Muallem, brother-in-law, Mike Muallem, their daughter Juliana Muallem; brother Nathan Phillips, sister-in-law, Sara (Karides) Phillips, their daughter Callie Phillips; brother CPL Seth Phillips; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Josh is preceded in death by his sister Danielle Phillips, Grandparents R.L. & Helen Phillips, Grandparents, Jim and Adele Fewell and Papap McLaughlin.
Josh had an infectious laugh and smile, a great sense of humor and loved others. Josh was very much loved by his family and friends, and he will be missed by many.
