Julieta Augusta Andrade de Alcada passed away on July 2, 2012 in Houston, Texas. She was born in Lisbon, Portugal on December 7, 1934 to Joao Antonio Junior and Augusta Andrade.
She is survived by her daughter, Julieta Fiorotto; and son, Santiago Alcada Andrade; and grandchildren, Gabriel and David Fiorotto.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tiago Alcada de Morais, who died on September 23,
She grew up in Lisbon and Pamela, Portugal. She married her husband in 1960 and moved to Venezuela shortly after. When her husband passed in 1994, she moved to Houston, Texas.
She loved God and she always had the greatest faith. She worked very hard to accomplish any goal she had. She never gave up. She always had faith that God would see her through any trouble.
She was a linguist, and her favorite language was French.
A visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 12 noon, with the funeral starting at 12 noon in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Burial will commence at the Garden of God Cemetery (a.k.a. Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery).
