Kevin Shultz

Kevin Shultz, age 41, passed away suddenly on August 8, 2012. Kevin had a big heart and will be missed by many. He was born in Houston, Texas on October 9, 1970.

“God knows he was getting tired and knew a cure was not to be,

so he put his arms around him and whispered come home to me.

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and fade away.

Although we loved him dearly we could not make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, a determined spirit was at rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best” - Author Unknown

Kevin is preceded in death by grandparents, Violet and Jack Sawyer; Lottie Lobland and Otto Shultz.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Jackie Shultz and Sammy Shultz; fiancé Tammy Colon and her three sons, Christian, Michael and Sterling, three sisters Rhonda Tobin, and son, Dylan; Renee’ Zawacki and husband Herman and their children, Karli and Trevor; and Brittney Shultz; Aunt Linda, Uncle Pat and three cousins, Leah, Mark and Blake, all of Houston. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Ziggy.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Beresford Funeral Service in Houston.

You know how much your family means to me - I hope you know that we will forever be friends and that heartfelt sympathy is with you, your mom, your dad and all the others that will feel the sadness of Kevin's loss. May you all find peace in the good memories you have of Kevin and keep the faith that he is without pain, physical and emotional - he is with our great Creator and forever young!

Kevin will always be there, everywhere you look, all the plants and trees he planted are a part of Kevin. The care he gave to all of us, he was there when someone needed a helping hand. We all loved him so very much.
